Was für ein enttäuschender Abend. Die Eintracht verliert das
Abstiegsduell gegen Freiburg 1:4, Roger verliert in Indian Wells unglücklich
gegen Djokovic und ich beziehe eine derbe 2:0 Niederlage im Canasta. Da hätte
ich lieber einen ultralangen Block geschrieben. Heute Morgen waren Janis und
Dad Dad mit dem Kajak unterwegs – auch hier war Janis als Gopro Kameramann und
Steuermann furchtlos. Wenn es nach ihm gegangen wäre hätten wir einmal die
Insel umrundet, dies scheiterte allerdings am Wind und den Kräften des Mannes
am Ruder. Das anschliessende Abkühlen im Meer war herrlich – die
Wassertemperatur liegt geschätzt im oberen 20-er Bereich. Gegen 10.30 Uhr war
es wieder derart heiss, dass uns der heisse Sand in Richtung Infinity Pool
Nummer 3 trieb (eine quälend schwere Auswahl J).
Hier gibt es für die Kleinen einen überdachten Bereich, in dem das Wasser
lediglich 60cm tief ist. Mit Turtle und Schwimmring also nahezu eine
gefahrenfreie Zone. Nach einem ausgiebigen Mittagsschlaf (zumindest von Neyla
und Dad Dad) und einem kleinen Snack musste natürlich auch Infinity Poll Nummer
2 getestet werden. Die Stimmung und die Temperaturen nach 17.00 Uhr sind
unglaublich schön und wäre das „notwendige“ Abendessen nicht so würden wir
wahrscheinlich noch immer im Pool treiben. Geht ja nicht, denn nach dem Dinner
stand ja noch der Sprung in den eignen Pool an. Jetzt geht’s mit Schwimmhäuten J an die
Canasta-Revanche für gestern. Spruch des Tages von Janis: „Wir können los – ich
bin anget-shirt“.
What a
disappointing evening. The „Eintracht“ looses an essential match against
Freiburg 1:4, Roger looses invidiously against Djokovic in Indian Wells and
Sascha has to admit a defeat in Canasta against Domi. He would have better
written a long blog... This morning, Dad Dad and Janis made a tour in the kayak
– Janis was once more absolutely brave and coped easily with the Gopro as the
camera man. If it was for him they would have gone around the island, but this
was unfortunately not possible due to the wind and the lack of Sascha’s
strength on the rudder. The cooling down afterwards was just genial; the water
temperatures are a real dream. It must be something around 25 degrees. At
around 10:30 it had got so hot already that we had to leave the beach and go to
the 3rd Infinity pool here. A real hard life... There is a shallow
basin for little kids, not more than 60cm and totally roofed. So this area is
nearly risk free especially with the turtle the swim ring. After a long
afternoon nap (at least for Dad Dad and Neyla) and after a short snack we then
had to test the Infinity pool number 2. The atmosphere there at sunset is so
incredibly beautiful that we would probably still hang around there if we “did
not have to go for dinner”... But we can’t skip that as we have to jump into
our own pool after dinner... J Done all that, we will go for a Canasta
revenge now... J
