Weltreise 2014: Der Sonntag in Singapur / Sunday in Singapore

Die Singapurianer (hoffe, dass dies die richtige Bezeichnung ist) würden sagen: "same same", was in unserem Fall nichts anderes bedeutet, als dass Janis und Neyla auch heute Nacht nicht vor 3 Uhr eingeschlafen. Oder aus der Sportlerbrille betrachtet: Janis wollte unbedingt noch Barcelona live sehen. Wir haben es also gerade mal wieder so um 12.00 Uhr zum Brunch geschafft, um Schorsch und Sandra zu verabschieden, die zurück ins kalte Hongkong (14 Grad) geflogen sind. Brunch im Prego können wir echt empfehlen - nicht ganz billig, aber extrem abwechslungsreich. Anschliessend haben wir die Pfunde wieder auf dem hoteleigenen Tennisplatz, im Gym und im Pool verloren. Den Abend haben wir dann mal ganz alleine in der Zauberwelt rund um das Marina Bay Sands verbracht. Die Show hat schon Vegas Charakter und auch der ganze Gebäudekomplex ist unglaublich beindruckend. Auf dem Nachhauseweg haben wir dann noch einen Volleyball gekauft und plötzlich war die Müdigkeit bei den Kids verschwunden - so dauerte der Weg zurück zum Fairmont weit über eine Stunde. Bei über 20 Grad und und dem wahnsinnigen Blick auf die Skyline von Singapur haben wir aber jede Sekunde genossen und viel gelacht. Rundum wieder ein super Tag.

As you say in Singapore: "same same". This describes our situation in terms of the jetlag. Janis and Neyla felt asleep at 3 am last night. Maybe it was also just because Janis wanted to watch the Soccer game between Barcelona and Levant. We again just made it for brunch at 12 o'clock to make Sandra' and Schorsch's farewell, who had to fly back to cold Hongkong. Currently 14 C... we can really recommend brunch in the Prego. Not that cheap but a huge selection of all different kinds of food. That forced us to make an extra sport session on the tennis court, at the gym and in the pool... The evening we spent just the four of us around the Marina Bay Sands that gives you an impression you are in a magic world. The shows really have Las Vegas level and also the buildings around the sea are very impressing. On the way home we decided to buy a volleyball to play soccer with the kids (as it is not too heavy for them) and all of a sudden all their tiredness was gone... as a consequence it took us over an hour to walk back to the hotel. Considering that we had a temperature way over 20 C and the most wonderful view over Singapore, we enjoyed every single minute. We messed around a lot, we laughed a lot. Another wonderful day.
