Weltreise 2014: Abschied von Singapur 24. Januar 2014 - Departure from Singapore 24th of January 2014

Heute früh konnten wir einen neuen Rekord auf unserer Reise aufstellen. Wir waren doch tatsächlich alle bereits um kurz nach 9 wach - unglaublich. Nach kurzem Koffer packen haben wir das tolle Frühstück im Club auf dem 57 Stock genossen. Janis war froh, dass er mal wieder Toast mit Nutella vorgesetzt bekam. Die Zusatzgebühren für den Club stehen wahrscheinlich in keinem Verhältnis zu den Zusatzdienstleistungen - mit zwei kleinen Kindern haben wir das Frühstück in privater Atmosphäre aber extrem genossen. Von dem Ausblick mal ganz zu schweigen. Nach dem Check out haben wir noch die Gardens of the Bay, direkt hinter dem MBS erkundet. Wirklich empfehlenswert. Man lässt sehr schnell alles hinter sich und befindet sich in einer abwechslungsreichen, botanischen Welt, die mit den riesigen Pflanzen von „Avatar“ ein absolutes Highlight bereithält. Hier sollte man sich ruhig ein bisschen mehr Zeit einplanen als wir. Anschliessend haben wir mit unseren 8 Gepäckstücken mal wieder ein Taxi bis unters Dach gefüllt und uns auf den Weg zum Flughafen gemacht. Der Check in Prozess bei Jetstar (Billigfluglinie von Quantas) verlief erstaunlich reibungslos. Die letzten Stunden in Singapur haben wir dann noch in der Rainforest Lounge verbracht. Zum Glück handelte es sich nicht um einen echten Regenwald, den hätte Neyla nämlich ansonsten mit ihrem wortgewaltigen Auftritt in sekundenschnelle vernichtet. Das Management war auf jeden Fall froh, als wir in Richtung Gate D37 – Zielort Melbourne aufgebrochen sind.

Today, we got a new record on our trip. We were all awake just after 9 o'clock. Incredible. After packing our suitcases we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in the club on the 57th floor. Janis was really happy to finally get back his toast with "Nutella". The extra costs for the Club were totally disproportionable to the extra service, but we enjoyed the privacy in the club with the kids. Not to mention the astonishing view. After checking out we went to visit the Gardens of the Bay, which is located directly behind the MBS. Another thing we can really recommend. You have in not time the feeling to be in "Avatar's" world and it makes you forget everything around you. A real variable botanic world with huge plants and wonderful flowers. A real highlight. If possible, you should just spend a little more time there as we did.

We then again filled a whole taxi to the top of the roof with our luggage and hit the road to the airport. The check-in process with Jet star, which is a low cost carrier of Quanta’s, was really easy and fast. We then got the chance to spend the rest of our time in the Rainforest Lounge. Luckily, it was not a real rain forest; Neyla would have destroyed it within seconds with her behaviour. The management was happy when we finally made our way to the gate D37 to Melbourne.
