Der Jetlag hat uns noch stärker erwischt als erwartet. Neyla und Janis haben das Hotelzimmer im Fairmont Hotel noch zum Spielplatz und die Nacht zum Tag gemacht und sind gegen 5.30 (wir meinen morgens !!) erschöpft eingeschlafen.  Kein Wunder, dass wir den auf 12.00 Uhr angesetzten Brunch verschlafen haben und erst mit einer halben Stunde Verzögerung im PS Cafe auf dem Dempsey Hill eingetroffen sind. Die Egg Benedikt und die tolle Gesellschaft von Patrick, Sandra und Schorsch haben uns aber schnell wieder munter gemacht. An dieser Stelle möchten wir Sandra und Schorsch dafür danken, dass Sie den Flug von Hongkong auf sich genommen haben, um das Weekend mit uns zu verbringen. Wir freuen uns auf Eure Hochzeit am 22.08.2014. Nach ein bisschen Tennis und Pool haben wir uns abends in selber Runde (plus Kofi) dann zum Apero auf der Dachterasse des Marina Bay Sands und anschliessend beim "Besten Japaner der Stadt" (gemäss Patrick) getroffen. Das Fazit war eindeutig: Best Sushi ever. Der abschliessende Verdauungssparziergang zum Marina Bay Sands war auch für Janis und Neyla beeindruckend. Beleuchtete Drachen (fliegend) und das Wolkenkratzerambiente sind echt einmalig. Abgeschlossen haben wir den Abend dann noch auf der Roof Top Bar des MBS. Atemberaubend.

 

 

The Jetlag hit us even harder than expected. Neyla and Janis felt asleep at 5.30 (in the morning!) after turning the Hotel room of the Fairmont Hotel into a playing ground. No wonder we missed our brunch appointment at 12.00. Half an hour later we finally made it to the PS cafe on the Dempsey Hill. The company of Patrick, Sandra and Schorsch and the fantastic Egg Benedict woke us up again in no time. We would like to take the opportunity to thank Sandra and Schorsch who came all the way from Hongkong to spend the weekend with us. We are looking forward to your wedding on the 22nd of August!

After a little tennis and swimming in the pool we then met all again, (plus Kofi) for a drink on the top roof of the Marina Bay Sands and for the best Japanese (according to Patrick) in town. We herewith confirm: best sushi ever! The little walk to the Marina Bay Sands after dinner was also very exciting for Janis and Neyla. Some Chinese were playing with flashing kites, together with the amazing picture of the sky scrapers that made it really worth seeing. We then finalized our day on the top roof of the MBS. Awesome.
